Let me be clear on this one issue, Beaufort County NOW is the only news and information cyber site, originating from Beaufort County, that actually publishes our traffic numbers on a regular basis. Therefore, without any evidence to the contrary, BCN can rightfully claim the top status as the top cyber site originating from Beaufort County, North Carolina, in terms of traffic, with this one caveat: We will relinquish this mantel, once one of our competitors publish their numbers in an substantive manner - not unlike our practice of doing so.
So, we're number one in traffic. Last month, September,2013, Beaufort County Now used its leading edge delivery system, Symbiotic Publisher, to reach an estimated 4,212 people per day, considering the metric of 30 hits per visitor per day (126,360 overall hits per day for BCN), or to reach an estimated 4,196 people per day, considering the metric of 3 page views per visitor per day (12,586 overall page views per day for BCN). Now, irrespective of which metric you prefer, one must agree that is a lot of traffic, especially when one considers that this traffic originates primarily from word-of-mouth and Search.
To drive this point deeper into the bosom of the public's Conscious world, I offer the statistics of those aforementioned traffic metrics, as analyzed by our embedded traffic counter.
Milestones for Beaufort County NOW: Our Growing Readership in September, 2013
Most Unique I.P.s visiting BCN per day - 2,597 - 71.78% increase over the last 12 months.
Most Unique Page Views per day - 12,586 - 82.09% increase over the last 12 months.
Most Hits per day - 126,560 - 92.99% increase over the last 12 months.
Most Files accessed per day - 114,950 - 91.01% increase over the last 12 months.
Consistency
During the month of September, we had our best month yet regarding the number of days above a minimum of 2000 unique I.P.s per day within a one month period. During the month of August, we had 30 days over 2,000 unique I.P.s per day, with a staggering 30 days straight above the 2,000 per day mark.
What you will witness at the SNI site today, will be markedly less than what you will see there tomorrow, for I intend to build it up - using our propriety Symbiotic Publisher content management system (the same CMS that powers BCN). As I work to complete this task, I, and my sales associate, coding associate and publishing associate, Chris Downey, will work to that same end with me as well, and we will be even more emboldened to assist the corporate / company leader, who is wise enough to know how important it is to reach out on the internet.

Not only did our server go down, but we lost nearly two and one half months of data, in short, posts, well considered posts gone.

This post should have been written almost three weeks ago, but with all that has transpired, I have been busy of late, and I have written very little about many things, but still have most of these worlds still whirling around in my head, so here goes.

Beaufort County Now has had an exemplary year, but November, 2015, after our best month ever, October, 2015, started with a whimper, but finished with a bang to top our best month ever for Unique IPs per day.

It was close, but BCN's October, 2015, month of daily traffic ascended to a level that allowed Beaufort County NOW to capture the 'brass ring' of sustained popularity to monthly best that blowout time of March, 2015, by the slimmest of margins.

What takes an internet publication form a local communication portal - just so one might cry out a few salient ideals - to that community's dominant player, to a regional juggernaut?

Beaufort County NOW (BCN) did not have its best month to date, but it did have it's third best month so far this year, which means it was our third best month since we began it September, 2009. We'll take it.
